ScoutAdvisor Corporation becomes the first U.S. company to deliver scouting software to Japanese Baseball

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - November 1, 2007) - The ORIX Buffaloes have deployed the ScoutAdvisor® International Scouting System, giving professional scouts working for this Nippon Professional Baseball team secure, real-time, web-based access to comprehensive scouting statistics and proprietary player information in both English and Japanese.

"Based on the company's success and reputation with Major League Baseball teams, ORIX sought out ScoutAdvisor Corp. to help us capitalize on technology to improve the flow of our international scouting information," said Takashi Miyata, Scouting Director, ORIX Buffaloes. "By providing data in a centralized, web-based location, the ORIX International Scouting System lets us quickly and effectively synthesize all the pertinent player information necessary for informed trading decisions. Our international scouting operation is also more efficient, having eliminated countless hours combing through multiple data sources."

ScoutAdvisor® International is a highly secure, fully customizable and fully translatable web-based system that dramatically improves the way international baseball teams collect, organize, access and update scouting and statistical data.

For ORIX, the ScoutAdvisor® system compiles public and proprietary statistics from multiple international baseball data sources, and enables real-time updates by Japanese and U.S. scouts from any computer with Internet access. Statistical data and qualitative scouting information is entered in English or Japanese, and can then be viewed in either language or both languages simultaneously.

"It is exciting to have this innovative technology for use in scouting international players. With this ScoutAdvisor® web-based system, we can securely upload reports, pictures and videos from half-way around the world for instant access by the front office in Japan," said U.S.-based St. Louis Cardinals major league scout Matt Slater, who also consults for ORIX. "By putting detailed, up-to-date information on foreign players at the team's fingertips, ORIX management is better-prepared to make key player decisions."

"ScoutAdvisor is honored that the ORIX Buffaloes have deployed our International Scouting System, and thrilled to be the first U.S. company to provide software development services to Japanese baseball," said Michael Morizio, CEO, ScoutAdvisor Corp. "We are confident that ORIX will realize significant benefits from having its proprietary scouting information centralized in a single, secure location and accessible from anywhere in the world via the Internet."
